Film screenings at 11am and 1pm

This summer, 15 ordinary people are cycling 1800 miles of the historic Underground Railroad – and bringing the fight against modern-day slavery across the country. The 5 Weeks for Freedom team will reach Louisville after cycling more than 800 miles – join them in their fight against injustice with a rally, film screening and live music on July 17.

The event will feature a live performance by recording artist Enric Sifa , a Rwandan-born singer and songwriter whose lyrical voice and incredible presence have won him both critical praise and a loyal following. You’ll also have the opportunity to view screenings of the acclaimed "rockumentary" Call + Response – a film that brings together leading voices on slavery with musical performances from celebrated artists, with a lineup including Ashley Judd, Nicholas Kristof, Natasha Bedingfield, Switchfoot and more.

Get ready to be inspired and equipped in the fight against violent oppression.

Because slavery has been defeated once. Because it can be defeated again – Join us.
